At CBSOT, career preparation begins on Day 1 and runs as a parallel studio through all four years. By the time placements open, our students aren’t preparing — they’re ready.

Year 1 · Solid Core

We will ace Problem solving, Programming, Data structures, Algorithms, Full stack Web development and fundamentals for Data science along with Math.

Year 2 · Get rigorous

We will ace ML, Deep learning, NLP, CS core subjects, Data analytics and Advanced web dev with System design to be ready for the Top Internships coming our way the end of the second year.

Year 3 · Go industry

We will ace LLMs, their working and creation, Gen AI, revisit DSA in Java with Spring boot application, revisit Web dev concepts, master Cybersecurity and then Blockchain for having a super charged launchpad for jobs or entrepreneurship.

By this time, most of us would be either working in the IT industry or be ready to enter. So we will learn Technologies of the industry which will help us be a 10x engineer and probably also work on Research papers for our contributions to Tech.

Is there a placement guarantee?+

No serious institution should promise a guarantee — and we won’t either. What we commit to is process: a continuous career studio, hackathon and internship prep right from the beginning, mock interviews, and direct connects with our hiring partner network. Outcomes come from that process.

What roles do students target?+

Software Development Engineer, AI/ML Engineer, Data Engineer, Backend / Full-stack Engineer, Product Engineer, and for a small but growing cohort — founding-engineer and founder roles.

How early can students intern?+

Structured short internships can start as early as Year 1. The first full industry internship is planned for Year 2 summers.
