An engineering degree, re-engineered for the work that comes after it.

Four years, practical-first. We keep the rigour of a real B.Tech and rebuild everything else — how you learn, what you build, who reviews your work, and how you walk out actually employable.

Why this program exists

Because most B.Techs teach for the exam, not the job.

We spent a decade watching smart students arrive at Coding Blocks after three years of college — still unable to build. This program is our answer.

Coding from Year 1

Programming, Git, Linux and a first deployed app — all inside Semester 1. No waiting till Year 3.

AI woven in, not bolted on

Applied ML and generative AI in early years — a CS degree built for the AI era, not retrofitted for it.

Shippable work every semester

11+ real projects across the degree. Every semester ends with a demo day reviewed by industry engineers.

Mentor-led, not lecture-led

Practising engineers review your code weekly and provide Individual attention. Teaching here is a craft, not a monologue.

Career studio from Sem 1

DSA, portfolios, mocks, recruiter connect — continuous through four years, not rushed in the final semester.

MacBook-first developer setup

Code from Day 1 on a MacBook. VS Code, Git and Copilot pre-configured before your first class.

Who this is for

Students who want to build, not just graduate.

If you’ve ever opened an IDE on your own and thought “I want to do more of this” — this is your program. Parents looking for structure and outcomes, we designed this with you in mind too.

Class 12 students

Ready to start real engineering at 18.

Students who don’t want to wait three years to actually build something. Curious, self-starting, wanting momentum from Day 1.

  • Have tinkered with code even before college
  • Want a degree that feels like a head-start, not a holding pattern
JEE aspirants & droppers

Strong problem-solvers looking for a direct path.

If you’ve already put in the work on quant and reasoning, channel it into a serious engineering track — without another year chasing rank lists.

  • JEE Main/Advanced aspirants looking at better fit
  • Droppers who want to skip another year of theory-only prep
Future founders & builders

Students who want to ship products, not just collect grades.

You’re here to build portfolios, ship side-projects, enter hackathons and open-source programs — and ideally start your own thing. We’re built for that.

  • Open-source, GSoC/SIH/LFX, early-stage founder ambition
  • Want mentors who’ve shipped real products, not just taught
Industry-oriented advanced curriculum

Four years. Every subject. Nothing hidden.

Pick a year on the left to see exactly what you'll learn, build and walk out with. Same syllabus, same rigour at both campuses.

Program FAQ

The questions students & parents ask us before applying.

Is this a real, recognised B.Tech degree?+

Yes. Students enroll into a four-year B.Tech in CS & AI at one of our university partners — GLA University (Noida) or Geeta University (Panipat) — both degree-granting institutions. The degree certificate and transcript are issued by the chosen university. CBSOT designs and delivers the practical layer on top.

What are the total fees and what’s included?+

The indicative total program fee is around ₹ 16–21 Lakh across 4 years (₹ 16.26 L without hostel, ₹ 21.51 L with hostel), covering university tuition, development fee, facility & examination charges, and CBSOT’s industry layer. Laptop (MacBook) is borne by the student — CBSOT arranges preferred partner pricing.

Are scholarships actually available?+

Yes. 100% / 50% / 25% tuition scholarships are awarded based on admission-test performance and profile review, plus an additional 25% Young Girl Techies waiver for women in tech. Roughly 1 in 5 admits receives some scholarship. Full criteria shared with your offer letter.

What if my child doesn’t already know how to code?+

That’s perfectly fine — most of our students start this way. Year 1 is built on the assumption of zero prior coding experience. The admission test is not a coding test — it’s a reasoning / aptitude test.

Is Year 4 really internship or research — not classroom theory?+

Yes. Year 4 is either (a) a year-long industry internship with a hiring partner, often with a PPO path, or (b) a structured research path with a faculty guide, publication support and lab access. Students pick one at the end of Year 3.

Who do I talk to for specific questions?+

Your named admissions counsellor through the whole cycle. Write to admissions@cbsot.in or book a call.
